হাওড়া স্টেশন ওয়েটিং রুম থেকে মুম্বই পুলিশের হাত হতে পালাল মুর্শিদাবাদের নাবালিকা-অপহরণকারী। চব্বিশ ঘণ্টার মধ্যে গ্রেফতার করলো হাওড়া জিআরপি।

     A police team from Navi Mumbai had come to West Bengal two days ago in order to recover a kidnapped minor girl in last November in connection with Navi Mumbai Coastal Thana. With the help of local police of Murshidabad the victim girl was recovered and the accused male namely Azmal Hassan Sheikh@ Rubeil (22) of Beldanga, Murshidabad was also arrested.
     On 30.05.26 the team was about to return to Mumbai from Howrah Rail Station by boarding train and during their brief stay at the Station Waiting Hall, the accused person escaped taking the girl with him.
Over this issue a thorough search was immediately started by Howrah GRP team. All platforms, adjoining premises, Bus Stops were searched in Howrah and in the city of Kolkata. Information was received that the escaped duo might go to Murshidabad. A team of Howrah GRP was immediately sent to Murshidabad and with the help of local police of Hariharpara Thana both of them were found on 31.05.26 . The male was arrested and the girl was brought back.
     Today Mumbai Police team has produced the arrested accused before Ld CJM Howrah for transit remand.
     Through proper legal process Mumbai Police team is returning with the arrested accused person leaving a note of satisfaction and thankfulness for the Howrah GRP team for helping them out in the crisis.
