গতকাল বেলুড় জিআরপি থানা প্রাঙ্গণে অনুষ্ঠিত হলো স্বেচ্ছায় রক্তদান উৎসব। জিআরপি পুলিশের উদ্যোগে বহু সাধারণ মানুষসহ পুলিশ ও সিভিক ভলান্টিয়ার এগিয়ে এলেন রক্তদান করতে। একই অনুষ্ঠানে থেকে ফিরিয়ে দেওয়া হলো হারিয়ে যাওয়া পয়ত্রিশটি স্মার্টফোন তাদের মালিকের হাতে।

     In a voluntary blood donation Programme conducted yesterday by GRP at Belur GRP Thana under Howrah GRP District, a total number of thirty-five persons donated blood. The donors included several police personnel and civics volunteers apart of a good number of people from the locality.

     At the sidelines of this Blood Donation programme, an arrangement was made by OC Belur GRP Thana, Susanta Sil to hand over to the rightful owners a total of thirty-five smart phones recovered during recent times by GRP.

     A small audio-drama was also staged by Lady Constables and Civic Volunteers on the high ideals of blood donation.

SRP Howrah Indrajit Basu, IPS and Inspr Rail Police Sanjoy Dey were present.
