পড়াশোনা ও বন্ধুদের সাথে মেলামেশা নিয়ে বাবা-মায়ের বকুনি খাওয়ার পর, ১৬ বছর বয়সী এক কিশোরী গত (২৭.০৩.২৬) তারিখে কাউকে কিছু না জানিয়ে বাড়ি ছেড়ে চলে যায়। পরবর্তীতে, হাওড়া জিআরপি (GRP) জেলার আওতাধীন আজিমগঞ্জ জিআরপি থানার পুলিশ তাকে উদ্ধার করেন। আজ সকালে (২৮ মার্চ, ২০২৬) ওই কিশোরীকে তার বাবা-মায়ের হাতে তুলে দেওয়া হয়।

On 27.03.26, at about 21:55 hours, Azimganj GRP Police Station under Howrah GRP District received a telephonic information  that one  16-year daughter had left home without informing anyone after being rebuked about her studies. She was reportedly wearing a yellow Churidar and might have boarded any Howrah- bound train. Acting on this information, Officer and force of Azimganj GRP Police Station started checking and located a minor girl matching description, sitting in S4 Coach of Train No.13034 DN Katihar Express, unaccompanied by a legal guardian. She confirmed her identity, and was taken to Azimganj GRP Police Station for safe custody. She revealed she had left home due to parental scolding over studies and socializing with friends, boarding the train without plan. Her parents were informed and requested to come to the GRPS at the earliest. After completing formalities, she was handed over to her parents today(28.03.26) morning .
