Andal GRP Thana recovers little girl from Andal Railstation 

On 18/03/26 at about 08:25 hrs SI Md. Monirul Haque along with force at Abdal Railstation noticed one girl child (aged about: 4 yrs) loitering aimlessly near foot over bridge. The little girl could only disclose her name as Rafia and father’s name as Rustam and could provide no further details. The police team rescued the said girl child and safely taken to the "Child Friendly Corner" with love of a lady constable in civil dress.

After sometime her mother and maternal uncle came to Abdal GRPS' Child Friendly Corner. On preliminary enquiry, the name and address was of the said child was known. Her home is in Paschim Bardhaman and she came to the station in the morning with her uncle and aunt. While her uncle had gone to purchase tickets the then UP Rachi-Hatia exp: arrived at Andal R/S and her aunt wrongly boarded the said train, leaving the child at the platform.

The child was safely handed over to her mother in presence of her uncle after proper verification and maintaining all formalities.
