On 26.02.26 evening the duty officer of Bolpur RPIC, under Sainthia GRPS, reported that a lady named Disha Paul had inadvertently left her laptop bag on the Down Maa Tara Express at Prantik Railway Station. The bag reportedly contained an HP laptop and several valuable items.

Upon receiving this information, officers and personnel from Bandel GRPS promptly initiated the necessary actions. Consequently, the bag was successfully retrieved on 26,.02.26, from the general compartment of the Maa Tara Express, with all its valuable contents intact. Following its recovery, the owner of the laptop bag was notified. Subsequently, Today on 28.02.26 evening, the owner, Disha Paul, daughter of Bidyut Kumar Paul of Kankinara Rath Tala, PS-Bhatpara, North 24 Parganas, arrived at Bandel GRPS. After thorough verification and identification, the recovered laptop bag, along with the laptop and all its articles, was returned to its rightful owner.
